8:30 to 9:30 Every weekday morning there is a fitness class with a focus on Injury Prevention.
MWF is Enhance Fitness, a zero impact aerobics class that also uses light weights for strength building. Zero impact means NO JUMPING. We also offer an evening Enhance Fitness class at 4:30-5:30pm on MTTh.
TTh is Tai Chi, Working for Better Balance. Smooth movements and controlled breathing strengthen your core while building and toning muscles.
Exercises build muscle and stamina for strength, balance and coordination. If it’s been a while since you’ve exercised or you are recovering from an injury, our program exercises can be done while seated in a chair. Several class participants have credited these classes with saving them from injury because they have stopped themselves from falling.
1:00 – 2:30 Tuesdays and Thursdays, Storytime Band plays country and western music. Old and new songs, together with a big dance floor and some friendly faces, are a great way to spend an afternoon or two! Dance or listen – we appreciate both – but – if you can dance and listen – you’ve got it made!
